In addition it options drag and fade support, directory viewing, TWAIN (Technology Without An Impressive Name) review support, slide shows, batch conversion, multi language buttress, thumbnail pick, preview path, print option, IPTC edit, capturing, derive icons from EXE/DLL/ICLs, lossless JPG (Joint Photographic Expert Group) rotation, EXE/SCR creating, many hotkeys, many command line options and modifications such as changing color depth, crop, blur by the same token sharpen.
IrfanView 4.42 changes:
- New File menu: Save Selection as (Hotkey: CTRL + SHIFT + B)
- New pick in Capture dialog: Show timer countdown
- New option in Export Tiles dialog: Extract all parts from multi-document files
- New possibility in Fine Oscillation dialog: Select "best" old image
- New option in Print dialog: No image overflow on page
- New HTML-Export dialog option: Copy extra files to destination directory (prepare a "copy_files.txt" file with filenames)
- Some PCX/BMP/PPM compiling bugs fixed (thanks upon Moshe Kaplan)
- Improved FITS format loading
- New text pattern: $R = image aspect ratio (width/height)
- New hotkey: CTRL + Pick out amid assortment = clear selection
- Some minor fixes (Thumbnails/folder scan)
- Some workarounds for Windows-10 bugs/issues (Installer signature, Associations)
